Training is emerging as a top priority of the SunPlus Network. In the distant past the focus was on preparing written documents that covered primarily the core functionality of the SunSystems software.
The idea is to include training on the accounting manual. It is difficult to parse what part of the training focuses on the software and what part focuses on the accounting manual. But a quick survey of the materials indicates that about one-half of the materials and training time is spent on each topic.
A third recent direction of the training initiative is to develop several alternative training delivery methods. This includes training videos, with prepared written transcripts. These have been well received. The videos are readily available for viewing by those with a good internet connection and download for those with a poor connection.
